Tickets are highly affordable for Tennessee’s visit to Miami on Monday, partly because Will Levis and the Titans have started 0-3. To their credit, though, the Titans haven’t been blown out.

Tennessee has played 12 quarters this season and over the first nine of those periods, the Titans haven’t trailed by more than one score. That’s not surprising because 30 NFL games this season – the most through Week 3 in NFL history — have been decided by eight points or fewer.

It’s also ironic for the Titans (0-3) because they’re one of just three winless teams in 2024. Since the NFL expanded to 32 franchises in 2002, there have been three-or-fewer winless teams through three weeks on only two previous occasions: 2012 and 2022.

But this week could be different for the Titans. Hard Rock Stadium carries good memories for Levis early in his early NFL career. In Week 14 last year, he led Tennessee on a furious fourth-quarter comeback. Levis said Wednesday the Titans are focused on this year while aiming for similar results.

“It was a lot of fun,” said Levis, whose Titans 15 points in the final four minutes to erase a 27-13 deficit to register a thrilling, 28-27 victory at Miami. “But different team, different season for both of us. Any time you play on Monday night, the whole world is watching, and it gives a little bit of extra excitement, so we’ve got that. That was a good win for us, and we’re just hoping to go get another win down there at a point of the season where we really need one.”

Levis really needed to eliminate avoidable turnovers that plagued him over the first two weeks. Even though he still had four giveaways in the 30-14 loss to Green Bay last week, none of them seemed like mental lapses. The second-year quarterback is doing his best to keep a positive mindset this week.

Just continue to instill confidence in myself and others,” Levis told Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com. “I think it’s easy to be in the, ‘Woe is me, what am I doing wrong, am I not good enough?’ And you can never let that seep into your brain. You have to come back and remind yourself of what kind of player you are, and what got you to this point.”

Tennessee and Miami (1-2) kick off the first game of another staggered doubleheader on Monday Night Football this week (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN). Seattle (3-0) and Detroit (2-1) kick off 45 minutes later (8:15 p.m. ET, ABC).
