Atlanta Falcons: Adam Schein (CBS) predicts on That Other Pregame Show that quarterback Michael Penix will see the field on Monday Night Football at Philadelphia.

Arizona Cardinals: DeeJay Dallas last week became the first player to return a dynamic kickoff for a touchdown but Jonathan Jones (CBS) says on That Other Pregame Show that Rams head coach Sean McVay will kick the ball out of the end zone today.

Baltimore Ravens: BREAKING (11:41 a.m. ET) — Linebacker Kyle Van Noy is active with a fractured orbital bone … Steve Wyche (NFL Network) says the team’s plan against the Raiders is to de-emphasize quarterback Lamar Jackson as a runner.

Cincinnati Bengals: On Sunday NFL Countdown, Randy Moss (ESPN) expects big things from Ja’Marr Chase today at Kansas City.

Cleveland Browns: BREAKING (11:33 a.m.) — Tackle Jack Conklin again is inactive this week … On That Other Pregame Show in an arrival interview with CBS reporter Amanda Balionis head coach Kevin Stefanski confirms quarterback Deshaun Watson wasn’t able to completely focus until Wednesday of this week.

Dallas Cowboys: BREAKING (11:33 a.m.) — Tight end Jake Ferguson is out today (also, the Saints’ Marshon Lattimore is inactive and won’t match up against Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb) … Kyle Long (CBS Sports Network) says on That Other Pregame Show expects Micah Parsons to register two sacks, eight pressures and a forced fumble against New Orleans. … ESPN medical expert Stephania Bell says on Fantasy Football Now that tight end Jake Ferguson could be back as early as next week. … ESPN analyst Eric Moody says on Fantasy Football Now to start Dak Prescott, a low-end QB1, because his production will be better today against New Orleans.

Detroit Lions: BREAKING (11:40 a.m. ET) — Wide receiver Jameson Williams is active today … Randy Moss (ESPN) on Sunday NFL Countdown picks Amon-Ra St. Brown as his No. 1 NFL receiver today, expecting St. Brown to thrive in zone coverage at home against Tampa Bay. … Stacey Dales (NFL Network) expects production from quarterback Jared Goff because he’s 3-1 career against Tampa Bay and faces a Bucs secondary without All-Pro safety Antoine Winfield.

Green Bay Packers: BREAKING (11:33 a.m. ET) — Wide receiver Jayden Reed is active today against the Colts, and to no one’s surprise, quarterback Jordan Love (knee) is officially inactive. … Adam Schefter (ESPN) doesn’t see Love returning either of the next two weeks and, realistically, guesses Love would return either Week 4 or Week 5.

Indianapolis Colts: BREAKING (11:38 a.m. ET) — Wide receiver Josh Downs (high-ankle sprain) is out today against Green Bay.

Jacksonville Jaguars: BREAKING (12:02 p.m. ET) — Tight end Evan Engram pulled a hamstring during pregame warmups and is now out against Cleveland … Brian Thomas, according to Cynthia Frelund (NFL Network) and her forecast, will post just four receptions for 46 yards without a score. It’s a sign of respect for the Browns’ defense, she says.

Kansas City Chiefs: Jeff Darlington (ESPN) reminds fantasy owners that Travis Kelce didn’t have his first 100-yard game last year until Week 6. Darlington adds that Andy Reid is expected to establish the run, like he did last week, before attacking downfield (which means good things for running back Isiah Pacheco).

Las Vegas Raiders: BREAKING (11:44 a.m. ET) — Second-round selection Jackson Powers-Johnson, the Raiders’ center/guar, again is inactive (illness)…In a live arrival interview on CBS Sports Network with AJ Ross, head coach Antonio Pierce says the Raiders are focused on getting Zamir White and the running game going before they worry about the pass. On defense, Pierce says the Raiders are planning to “cage-rush” Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Los Angeles Chargers: BREAKING (11:33 a.m. ET) — Wide receiver Joshua Palmer and edge-rusher Joey Bosa are active today … Cynthia Frelund (NFL Network) projects on Gameday Morning that running back J.K. Dobbins will get 68 rushing yards and a touchdown, as well as two catches for 11 yards against Carolina, who placed defensive end Derrick Brown on injured reserve this week. … Looking ahead to next week, Adam Schefter (ESPN) reports Justin Herbert and the Chargers will remain in Charlotte after today’s game to prepare and further acclimate in advance of their Week 3 assignment at Pittsburgh.

Los Angeles Rams: Adam Schefter (ESPN) reports wide receiver Puka Nacua (knee) could miss 5-7 weeks.

Miami Dolphins: Adam Schefter (ESPN) reports on Sunday NFL Countdown that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has no plans to retire following his third concussion on Thursday.

Minnesota Vikings: BREAKING (11:33 a.m. ET) — Justin Jefferson will not encounter an inactive Talanoa Hufanga in the 49ers secondary today … Mike Greenberg (ESPN) says he heard more about the Giants’ uniforms last week than Sam Darnold and much stranger things have happened in the NFL than Darnold having a great year with the Vikings. Alex Smith says playing with an aggressive, positive coach like Kevin O’Connell can only mean good things for Darnold.

New Orleans Saints: Per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, rookie tackle Taliese Fuaga is active today against Dallas.

New York Giants: Cynthia Frelund (NFL Network) projects on Gameday Morning that wide receiver Malik Nabers, who leads all rookies in receiving yards, will add a touchdown and 69 yards today at Washington … On FOX NFL Sunday, Julian Edelman says he expects Brian Daboll to throw the ball to Nabers “a zillion times.”

New York Jets: BREAKING (11:30 a.m. ET) — Cornerback D.J. Reed is inactive. … Rex Ryan (ESPN) on Sunday NFL Countdown expects Aaron Rodgers to bounce back against Tennessee, explaining that Rodgers also opened the season poorly in 2021 and 2022. Ryan attributes it to a lack of preseason game time. Later, Randy Moss says he expects a “huuuuuge year” from wide receiver Garrett Wilson and, despite the hiccup last week, looks for a “get-back-on-track” game from Wilson today at Tennessee.

Philadelphia Eagles: BREAKING (12:06 p.m. ET) — The Eagles have downgraded A.J. Brown to out against Atlanta … Mike Garafolo (NFL Network) said on Gameday Morning that wide receiver A.J. Brown (questionable with a hamstring injury) is expected to receive a likely determination on his status for Monday Night Football against Atlanta following the Eagles’ Sunday team walk-through. Complicating matters, Garafolo added, is that wide receiver Johnny Wilson is also questionable with a hamstring.

San Francisco 49ers: Jordan Mason passes the eye test of Charles Woodson on FOX NFL Kickoff … Mason has plenty of upside, ESPN’s Fantasy Football Now reports, for two reasons: 1) He proved last week he could carry the full load over four quarters and 2) he only caught one pass last week. Tons of potential for Christian McCaffrey‘s replacement. … Adam Schefter (ESPN) reports Thursday was the worst day of practice McCaffrey (calf/Achilles) has had, noting the running back’s situation is getting worse, not better. Schefter suspects McCaffrey will be out until at least mid-season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: BREAKING (11:37 a.m. ET) — Baker Mayfield and Rachaad White will not see Lions defensive end Marcus Davenport (inactive) today … Mike Evans (five catches, 62 yards, two touchdowns last week) says live on ESPN’s Countdown Cam that Tampa’s success was due to great preparation. New offensive coordinator Liam Coen has great energy, Evans says, and a lot of the Bucs’ offense from last season has carried over. Evans tells Rex Ryan his red-zone success is due to his big frame and catch radius. Evans hopes to get a lot of targets over the first 15 plays against the Lions today.

Washington Commanders: Alex Smith (ESPN) says on Sunday NFL Countdown that Jayden Daniels‘ skills cross over very well from college to the NFL and expects a productive day against the Giants.
