Josh Allen stands 11 stories tall on the side of Buffalo’s Statler building in Niagra Square. And during the Bills’ 47-10 win over Jacksonville, he stood tall in the eyes of 6-foot-9 LeBron James.

Allen engineered touchdowns on each of Buffalo’s five first-half possessions and finished 23 of 30 for 263 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, a 142.3 passer rating. But that’s not what impressed James, who many consider the NBA’s Tom Brady.

I really like watching Josh Allen play football,” James tweeted on Buffalo’s third drive as Allen was leaving Jacksonville scratching its head.

James tweeted after Allen threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Keon Coleman, giving Buffalo a 20-3 first-half advantage.

Allen leads the NFL with a 133.7 passer rating entering a Week 4 showdown at Baltimore on Sunday Night Football (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC). He also has 229 combined passing and rushing touchdowns (174 passing, 55 rushing), three short of eclipsing Patrick Mahomes (231) for the most by a player in his first seven seasons in NFL history.
