Agent Drew Rosenhaus was meeting with the Jets at MetLife Stadium on Monday night when he stepped out to call and update his new client, Haason Reddick. When Reddick invited Rosenhaus to his Camden, N.J., home to meet face-to-face, Rosenhaus canceled his return flight and, without packed bags, went to Target on Tuesday morning.

That’s where Rosenhaus used his phone to join FS1’s Tuesday edition of The Facility, with an important message for Gang Green.

“Our goal is to try and work out a deal with the Jets,” said Rosenhaus, hired by Reddick on Sunday. “Our goal is to hopefully do a multi-year contract with the Jets, where Haason can play for many years as a New York Jet. This is where he would like to be. That was the message that I communicated to the Jets organization last night when I met with them at the game, at the stadium.”

And that stadium is where Reddick could finish the 2024 season, playing with Aaron Rodgers and newly acquired Davante Adams. Rosenhaus explained Reddick’s focus on signing an extension with the Jets just hours after the team was open to hearing offers from teams looking for help, such as the Detroit Lions in the wake of Aidan Hutchinson’s injury.

Speaking for Reddick, Rosenhaus said the player is flexible with working out extension details, and that’s the message he’ll continue to communicate to the Jets. And even though Reddick and Myles Garrett are the league’s only players with double-digit sacks in each of the previous four seasons, when co-host Emmanuel Acho asked whether Reddick wants to the NFL’s highest-paid edge rusher, Rosenhaus had an interesting answer.

“I don’t think that’s a prerequisite for us,” Rosenhaus said. “There’s a deal to be done here that would be less than Haason becoming the highest-paid pass rusher in football. We don’t have a set list of criteria. We’re flexible. We’re open to getting a deal done with the Jets right now. When you’re six games into the season, you’ve got to be able to have creativity, flexibility.”

The Jets (2-4) acquired Reddick from the Eagles in a March 29 trade that sent a conditional third-round 2026 selection to Philadelphia. But New York acquired him without an agreement in place for a new contract. Reddick hasn’t been to the Jets’ headquarters in Florham Park, N.J., since shortly after the trade.
