In 2001, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick handed Tom Brady the keys to his offense. On Monday afternoon, Brady announced he’s giving his former coach the keys to his Let’s Go! Podcast on SiriusXM.
Belichick, who earned rave reviews for his television work on the NFL 100 All-Time Team during the league’s 100th season in 2019, will give fans the same glimpse into his unique personality on the podcast starting Sept. 2.
“For 20 years I threw the ball for Coach Belichick,” Brady said in the press release. “Now I am passing the microphone to him on ‘Let’s Go!’ I will be listening every week as I know Bill and Jim will have lots of great conversations, and I’m looking forward to my guest appearances and joining them during the season.”
Brady will join countless fans each week to hear Belichick’s insights, along with Raiders Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby, outstanding writer Peter King and host Jim Gray. New episodes are scheduled to drop each Monday.
Brady makes his debut as FOX’s lead color analyst Sept. 8 when the Dallas Cowboys visit the Cleveland Browns.
Meanwhile, the player most remembered for intercepting Brady’s final pass in a Patriots uniform, Logan Ryan, also is joining the media. Ryan shared on Ross Tucker’s podcast Monday that fans can hear him this season as a color analyst during CBS college game broadcasts as well as in the network’s NFL studio on Sundays.
