Once the season ends, the Jaguars will have a lot of questions regarding their future once the season ends. None of those will involve wide receiver Brian Thomas or running back Tank Bigsby. Both players have been cementing bright futures all season, and their contributions finally came in a win on Sunday against the Titans, 10-6.

Thomas, the 23rd overall selection in the 2024 draft, made three crucial catches for 57 yards on Jacksonville’s game-winning drive, setting up Bigsby’s 8-yard touchdown run. That scamper, complete with a violent stiff arm reminiscent of Derrick Henry on his former field, was the game’s only touchdown in a 10-6 win and snapped a five-game losing streak for the Jaguars (3-10). The win also snapped the personal six-game losing streak of Mac Jones, dating back to 2023 with the Patriots. Jones finished 23 of 31 for 220 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Despite catching passes from two starters, Jones and Trevor Lawrence, Thomas has been a shining light. He caught eight passes for 86 yards on Sunday and now needs just 149 more over the Jaguars’ final four games to reach 1,000. So far this season, 350 of his 851 yards (41.1 percent).

Bigsby, meanwhile, has provided a spark in the team’s backfield. He had 55 yards on 18 carries to help put away the Titans (3-10).

Jacksonville no longer has the worst record in the league and would not draft in the top two had the season ended in Week 14.

Tennessee quarterback Will Levis confirmed after the game he aggravated a sprained AC joint in his shoulder after a hit on the final play of the first half. He received a pain-killing injection in the locker room and returned to play after intermission.
