Chicago Bears: Adam Schefter adds that former Saints interim HC Darren Rizzi is high on Ben Johnson’s list as a potential Bears special teams coordinator. More than six other teams are also pursuing Rizzi, who also is a head-coach candidate with the Jets.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Former Jets HC Robert Saleh will interview a second time with the Jaguars on Friday, Jeremy Fowler says. Jonathan Jones reports the Jaguars also will hold second interviews with Liam Coen and Patrick Graham this week. Graham will interview Thursday, according to Tom Pelissero.

Atlanta Falcons: After hiring Jeff Ulbrich as defensive coordinator on Saturday, the Falcons will interview Texans assistant defensive line coach Nate Ollie for the vacant DL position on the Atlanta staff, per Mike Garafolo.

Las Vegas Raiders: Jonathan Jones reports the Raiders have completed an in-person GM interview with Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown. Jones notes that Brown was central in scouting Shedeur Sanders.

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys have completed an in-person head-coach interview with Leslie Frazier, the team announced.

Tennessee Titans: Tennessee is hiring John Fassel as special teams coordinator, Tom Pelissero says.

Dallas Cowboys: NFL insider Charean Williams says no one should be surprised that Jerry Jones never pursued Ben Johnson. Williams says Jones prefers coaches with prior head-coaching experience and had no familiarity with Johnson.

Las Vegas Raiders: Dianna Russini reports Tom Brady and Ben Johnson spent hours on a zoom call last weekend, Brady selling the Lions’ OC on the Raiders. In the end, Johnson chose Chicago and left the Raiders to choose whether to offer second interviews to Pete Carroll, Vance Joseph, Robert Saleh or Steve Spagnuolo. Aaron Glenn, who also interviewed with the Raiders, has prioritized second interviews with the Jets and Saints. The team has also requested an interview with Ravens HC Todd Monken, who now is available following Baltimore’s loss on Sunday.

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts are hiring Lou Anarumo as their defensive coordinator, per multiple reports.

Chicago Bears: Dennis Allen is the leading candidate to become Chicago’s defensive coordinator under Ben Johnson, Adam Schefter reports. The former Saints HC recently interviewed with the Colts for the same role.

Chicago Bears: The Bears are finalizing a deal to make Ben Johnson their next head coach, Tom Pelissero reports.

New England Patriots: Mike Vrabel will retain special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer on his Patriots staff, Ian Rapoport says.

New York Jets: Adam Schefter says Lance Newmark will conduct a second GM interview with the Jets on Tuesday. The Commanders’ assistant GM, Newmark spent time with Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn in Detroit prior to joining Washington in 2024. Newmark interviewed with the Raiders on Sunday.

Chicago Bears: Ben Johnson is deeply considering the Bears, Josina Anderson reports.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Brooke Pryor says the contract of longtime defensive line coach Karl Dunbar will soon expire. Dunbar works with both Cam Heyward and T.J. Watt, Pryor notes.

New Orleans Saints: Nick Underhill reports the Saints will conduct an in-person interview with Mike McCarthy. Logistics are TBD with the weather affecting travel plans but the goal is this week, Underhill says.

New Orleans Saints: Albert Breer says the Saints are scheduled to meet in-person with Aaron Glenn on Wednesday, after he meets with the Jets. Breer adds that New Orleans plans to do in-person second interviews with each of its first-round candidates. They’ve temporarily scheduled second-round meetings with Mike Kafka and Anthony Weaver. Their other first-round interviews were Joe Brady, Kellen Moore and Darren Rizzi. Weather is hampering travel plans.

New York Jets: Jeremy Fowler reports the Jets will meet with Aaron Glenn on Monday. Albert Breer reports the interview will take place Tuesday. Regardless, Woody Johnson may not allow him to leave Florham Park once the Jets’ owner returns from President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

New Orleans Saints: Ian Rapoport adds that Aaron Glenn is expected to visit the Saints for a second interview, in addition to the Jets. Glenn was the Saints’ defensive backs coach from 2016-20.

New York Jets: Aaron Glenn will interview in-person with the Jets, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo confirm. The fact that Glenn chose the Jets for his initial second-interview among his options is significant. Glenn played most of his NFL career with the franchise.

Dallas Cowboys: Ed Werder notes that Washington’s upset win at Detroit will delay the Cowboys’ ability to speak with Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury and/or run game coordinator/RB coach Anthony Lynn. Kingsbury is reportedly hitting pause until the Commanders are finished playing. Werder says the Cowboys and Lynn have mutual interest in speaking when rules allow.

Cincinnati Bengals: The team announced the hiring of offensive line coach Scott Peters and assistant offensive line coach Michael McCarthy. Peters, who served in the same role with New England last season, is a Bill Callahan protege.

New Orleans Saints: Mike Triplett confirms Saints will begin second interviews with Mike Kafka (Tuesday) and Anthony Weaver (Wednesday), but notes inclement weather could affect travel to New Orleans.

Chicago Bears: Former quarterback and FS1 host Chase Daniel predicts Chicago will hire either Mike McCarthy or Marcus Freeman, who leads Notre Dame in Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship.

Detroit Lions: Internal candidates expected to receive consideration to replace coordinators Ben Johnson (offense) and Aaron Glenn (defense) include assistant HC/RB coach Scottie Montgomery, passing game coordinator Tanner Engstrand and LB coach Kelvin Sheppard, according to Adam Schefter.

Dallas Cowboys: Shan Shariff from 105.3 The Fan in Dallas says he’s hearing buzz supporting Cowboys OC Brian Schottenheimer as a possible head-coach candidate.

Ben Johnson: Dianna Russini reports the Lions’ offensive coordinator may not schedule second interviews with all three suitors (Bears, Raiders and Jaguars). Johnson is still determining his next steps, she says.
