New York Jets: Both Aaron Glenn and Lance Newmark have returned to their homes. Jordan Schultz reports Glenn received a substantial offer and the job is his should he want it. Glenn has been working to construct his coaching staff, including Lions QB coach Mark Brunell, an OC candidate in both Detroit and with Glenn. Should he take it, he’s on the books later this week for a second interview in New Orleans, which received 10 inches of snow on Tuesday.

Dallas Cowboys: Dallas announced a completed head-coach interview with its offensive coordinator, Brian Schottenheimer. Jane Slater reports the interview discussed both the head coach and offensive coordinator position on the 2025 Dallas coaching staff.

New England Patriots: The team is bringing back Josh McDaniels as offensive coordinator, his third stint with the organization, multiple outlets report.

Minnesota Vikings: Kevin O’Connell has signed a long-term contract extension to remain Vikings head coach past 2025, the final year of his original contract. The team is reportedly now focused on extending GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.

New York Jets: Josina Anderson says there’s growing optimism that Aaron Glenn and Lance Newmark will become the Jets’ respective head coach and GM.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Rick Stroud reports the Buccaneers are preparing to lose Liam Coen to the Jaguars as early as Wednesday, when the Tampa Bay offensive coordinator is conducting a second head-coach interview in Jacksonville.

New Orleans Saints: Nick Underhill reports that Darren Rizzi‘s Jan. 17 head coach interview with the Saints was thorough and impressive, detailing his plans for every element of the team’s operation. Rizzi received a social-media vote of approval earlier in the day from running back Alvin Kamara.

Indianapolis Colts: The team officially announced the hiring of Lou Anarumo as defensive coordinator.

New York Jets: Zack Rosenblatt says if/when Aaron Glenn becomes Jets head coach, Klint Kubiak, Scott Turner and Nick Caley are names in the mix to become his offensive coordinator.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Rick Stroud says offensive consultant Tom Moore, 86, will return to the Bucs in 2025 for his 49th NFL season. Moore also has coached in 49 NFL postseason games.

New England Patriots: Matt Zenitz reports the Patriots have interest in hiring Lions defensive line coach Terrell Williams as Mike Vrabel’s defensive coordinator. Williams served as Vrabel’s interim head coach for one game during the Titans’ 2023 preseason. … Also, Albert Breer says the team interviewed Grant Udinski, 28, for its offensive-coordinator role on Monday. Minnesota’s assistant QB coach, Udinski is also a finalist for the OC role in Seattle.

Chicago Bears: Chicago has officially announced Ben Johnson as its head coach.

New England Patriots: New England has requested a defensive-coordinator interview with Ryan Crow, the Dolphins outside linebackers coach, per Mike Reiss.

Dallas Cowboys: Jane Slater and Ian Rapoport say Brian Schottenheimer is expected to interview for the Cowboys’ head-coach vacancy. Jonathan Jones confirms the news, adding that continuity with Dak Prescott is a factor in considering the current Dallas offensive coordinator.

Green Bay Packers: The Packers will interview Tampa Bay defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers for a similar role in Green Bay, Ian Rapoport says. Rodgers has an expiring contract in Tampa Bay.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Dianna Russini says new Bears head coach Ben Johnson wasn’t interested in Jacksonville’s “setup,” leading him to choose Chicago over the Jaguars and Raiders.

Las Vegas Raiders: Josina Anderson reports Ben Johnson turned down the Raiders due to their quarterback situation and uncertain involvement of limited partner Tom Brady.

New Orleans Saints: Snow has forced the Saints to reschedule this week’s second interviews, all in-person, for the New Orleans head-coach vacancy. The three scheduled to arrive in New Orleans this week were Giants OC Mike Kafka (Tuesday), Lions DC Aaron Glenn and Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver (both Wednesday). The team also is trying to schedule an initial meeting with Mike McCarthy. Jeremy Fowler reports the Saints may not be able to sit down with Kafka until late this week, as late as Saturday.

New York Jets: Aaron Glenn is the Jets’ prime target on Tuesday. They’ll do everything they can to keep him from interviewing with the Saints. Following his initial second interview with the Jets in-person on Tuesday, he’s scheduled to meet in-person with New Orleans on Wednesday, although weather is hampering travel to Southern Louisiana. What’s more, Commanders assistant GM Lance Newmark also is scheduled to conduct a second interview for New York’s GM role on Tuesday.

Las Vegas Raiders: After Ben Johnson spurned Las Vegas for Chicago, Mike Florio reports he caught wind of a tidbit with respect to the Raiders: “Don’t overlook Pete Carroll.”

Cincinnati Bengals: Notre Dame offensive coordinator Al Golden is a top candidate for the Bengals’ DC role, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report.

Seattle Seahawks: Dan Campbell may lose three key assistant coaches in two days. His offensive line coach Hank Fraley is conducting a second interview for the Seahawks’ OC vacancy on Tuesday, per Dan Graziano.
