New Orleans Saints: Mike McCarthy will not pursue the Saints’ head-coach role and instead will focus on the 2026 hiring cycle. He will not coach in the NFL this season, per Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. Eagles OC Kellen Moore is now believed to be the front-runner for the job.

Baltimore Ravens: Former Colts HC Chuck Pagano has come out of retirement to serve as senior secondary coach for the Ravens, Tom Pelissero reports.

New England Patriots: Mike Pellegrino, New England’s cornerbacks coach, will not return to the Patriots.

Houston Texans: Sean McVay’s pass game coordinator and tight ends coach Nick Caley will interview for Houston’s OC role on Thursday, Albert Breer reports. Caley interviewed for the same position with the Bucs on Monday.

Las Vegas Raiders: Pete Carroll interviewed Darrell Bevell for the vacant offensive coordinator role on Tuesday.

Washington Commanders: Offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury will remain with the Commanders and not interview with the Saints, Jordan Schultz says.

Denver Broncos: Inside linebackers coach Greg Manusky and the Broncos have parted ways, Tom Pelissero reports.

Las Vegas Raiders: Vic Tafur and Tashan Reed say Pete Carroll plans to talk to Patrick Graham about returning to his role as Raiders defensive coordinator, among other coordinator candidates on the Las Vegas list.

Eric Bieniemy: The former Chiefs and Commanders OC has been in contact with multiple teams, per Jordan Schultz, and interviewed for the Patriots’ offensive-coordinator position before New England hired Josh McDaniels.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Jonathan Cooley is a Liam Coen target for the Jaguars’ defensive-coordinator role. Jacksonville submitted an interview request for the Panthers’ pass game coordinator, per reports.

Dallas Cowboys: Matt Eberflus is officially the Cowboys’ new defensive coordinator.

New England Patriots: Brian Belichick will not return to the Patriots, Mike Reiss reports. Belichick has served on the New England staff for five seasons, most recently as safeties coach.

Chicago Bears: Ben Johnson has hired former Cowboys assistant Justin Rudd as senior director of coaching operations.

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins will hire Craig Aukerman as special teams coordinator, Tom Pelissero reports. Aukerman was most recently with the Titans.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jaguars announce they’ve completed a defensive-coordinator interview with Anthony Campanile, the Packers’ linebackers coach and running game coordinator. Also, Jacksonville has signed special teams coordinator Heath Farwell to a contract extension.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The team reports it has interviewed Rams quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone for the vacant Tampa Bay OC position.

New York Jets: Tanner Engstrand, Detroit’s pass game coordinator, is in the mix for the Jets’ offensive-coordinator role under new head coach Aaron Glenn. Steve Wilks also is a candidate for the team’s defensive coordinator, Josina Anderson says.

Las Vegas Raiders: Jeremy Fowler reports Las Vegas DL coach Rob Leonard has interviewed for the Raiders’ defensive coordinator role under Pete Carroll.

New Orleans Saints: Josina Anderson says Mike McCarthy‘s concerns involve the New Orleans power structure, communication, football decisions and length of contract. Anderson adds that league sources wonder whether owner Gayle Benson will change that structure.

Detroit Lions: John Morton has signed his contract to replace Ben Johnson as the Lions’ offensive coordinator, per multiple reports. Morton comes to Detroit from Denver, where he served as pass game coordinator.

Jacksonville Jaguars: The team announces it has completed a defensive-coordinator interview with Aubrey Pleasant, currently the Rams’ pass game coordinator and DBs coach.

Dallas Cowboys: Jeremy Fowler reports the Cowboys are nearing deals for coordinators Matt Eberflus (defensive) and Nick Sorensen (special teams).

Jacksonville Jaguars: Owner Shad Khan said at Liam Coen’s introductory press conference on Monday that the team expects to have a GM in place by the end of February. Khan also said Hall of Famer Tony Boselli will have a to-be-determined permanent position in the organization.

Cleveland Browns: Mike Garafolo reports the Browns are promoting senior offensive assistant Bill Musgrave to quarterbacks coach.
